The HR Director is responsible for co-developing and implementing the Ausnutria NL HR Strategy, managing the HR processes / annual calendar, based on the principle that the objectives of the business can be achieved by creating conditions for optimal deployment of employees. He/she will lead the HR department of around 13 FTE’s.
More in particular, the HR Director: Will bring a strong personal vision on HR and will play an active role in delivering innovative human resources initiatives and services. Identifies with and propagates the core values of Ausnutria. Is a business partner; collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to recruiting, developing, and retaining talent across all geographies, business lines and leadership levels. Supports the organization’s strategic needs and compliance with Human Resource Management standards and best-practices across the (international) organization. Collaborates, if necessary, with the HR department(s) of foreign subsidiaries and will build strong relationships as well as with business partners and country management abroad. Establishes and implements HR initiatives that effectively communicate and support Ausnutria’s strategic direction. Ensures that the transactional aspects of HR are well executed in a world of fast-moving and changing expectations of the employee population. Drives, oversees and manages the administration of HR programs, processes and initiatives including, but not limited to, Compensation & Benefits, Human Resources life cycle processes (onboarding, development and exit); disputes and investigations; performance and talent & succession management; employer branding, “great place to work” activities; sustainability; and training and development. In collaboration with relevant specialists within own HR department and other internal stakeholders, monitoring and ensuring the organization’s compliance to local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviewing and modifying policies and practices on an ongoing basis to maintain compliance. Stays abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law; applying this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior management. Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; developing and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. Builds creative strategies that drive employee engagement and motivation and advise leadership on opportunities and ways to strengthen employee engagement/participation
The Candidate’s profile
The ideal candidate will need to bring the following experience and professional qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of HR experience in combination with executive HR experience, preferably in an international environment. Business acumen and ability to manage, organize and prioritize, leading effectively through the dynamics of cultural change. Have internal customer focus and a style and behaviour which generates trust and promote Ausnutria’s core values. The ability to think at a strategic and conceptual level about people and organizational matters as they relate to the overall business strategy. An international mindset, having worked across various markets with distinct (business) cultures Experience and working knowledge of employment laws, unions, works councils and understanding of their impact on the business. A mindset of challenging the status quo and experienced and comfortable in the role of change agent. Has experience with working in a production organisation. Be positive with a forward-looking mindset and ‘can-do’ attitude. Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment characterized by consistent change and improvement. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to define and execute strategy. Personal credibility: an open responsible personality, who is reliable and trustworthy and showing loyalty, honesty, integrity, and a proven strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions. Be integer, down to earth and willing to listen and learn the business. Master’s degree, ideally in HR-related studies.
