    Based on your professional expertise and experience, you will contribute to setting up and developing Ecraid's HR plan and approach. Your challenge is to shape, optimise, translate and execute Ecraid’s vision into HR policy in close collaboration with the COO, the MT and our employees. Your challenge is to involve the organisation in the implementation of this policy, to raise awareness and to answer questions in relation to it.

    Your tasks

    • You are responsible for translating Ecraid's vision into an appropriate HR policy including development and assurance, aligning it with the mission, strategy and cultural values of Ecraid.
    • You take initiative to develop proposals regarding policy and culture within the organisation.
    • With your creativity, you advise and support the MT in the implementation of the HR policy. You are a professional go-getter with a flair for turning ideas into action.
    • You advise management on employee development and other matters including issues such as absenteeism and reintegration.
    • You are a project leader when it comes to HR projects.
    • You and your colleagues are responsible for the implementation of the HR plan. You know what makes Ecraid a great employer and how to communicate that effectively.
    • You report to the COO and coordinate the objectives and activities within HR and ensure efficient and effective working procedures are in use.

    We offer a challenging, varied position in a socially relevant field. Ecraid offers a pleasant and informal working environment with enthusiastic professionals who support and help each other. Ecraid has a 36-hour working week and offers excellent working conditions. This is initially a one-year contract with the possibility of extension. The full-time salary for this position is between €4,080 and €5,863 dependent on background, knowledge and experience, and is based on a 36-hour working week.

    We offer a hybrid work week at Ecraid and you are expected to work at our Provinciehuis office in the Utrecht at least two days a week, or more often if necessary.

    Established on 1 January 2022, the Ecraid Foundation works in collaboration with UMC Utrecht. The Ecraid Foundation has two main research streams: improving the clinical development of antibiotics; and building operational readiness for the rapid deployment of harmonised European clinical trials for infectious diseases that have epidemic potential.

    Ecraid aims to provide a platform to support a coordinated approach that focuses on efficient and effective development and implementation of clinical interventions against infectious diseases in Europe.

    We are currently working hard to shape the organisation, including setting up and organising HR within the organisation. We are looking for a proactive, enterprising Senior HR Business partner who wants to help us build our fast-growing organisation. This is a unique opportunity for an enterprising person who enjoys the challenges of setting up business in a start-up environment and who will ensure that our transition process runs smoothly.

    What you bring to the role:

    • A relevant HBO education such as P&A, HR management or similar studies.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
    • You are a sparring partner for your colleagues. You seek the best feasible solutions utilising your knowledge, enthusiasm and pragmatic working methods.
    • You like structure and always have a good overview.
    • You work carefully and with a critical eye.
    • You are enthusiastic, proactive and can achieve a lot.
    • You can work independently in a dynamic and flexible working environment.
    • You have a good command of Dutch and English both verbally and in written form.
    • Knowledge of Dutch law and regulations is a pre.
