Within the role of HR Business Partner you will support and advise management in the central teams (e.g. Product, Marketing, Commerce, Operations, Tech and Support Functions) in all aspects of HR to enable the development and growth of the organization. You will develop and implement various HR practices in line with business initiatives and trends.
As HR Business Partner your activities will include, among others:
Translate business initiatives, people issues and trends to the design and implementations of the people agenda for the central teams, including hiring, recruitment, internal mobility, performance management, compensation & benefits, HR governance, retention, employee and talent management, organizational development and leadership
Be the trusted advisor to your stakeholders, providing advice, guidance, and coaching to managers and employees in all aspects of HR. Work together with the Leadership Team, Managing Directors, People Managers, Work Council, Recruitment and external suppliers.
Support and facilitate the development of managers in people management and manager self service for HR-related processes (ie position management & organisation charts, job requisitions, etc).
Build high performing teams by proactively providing coaching & support related to team challenges & issues by having regular touchpoints with people managers and teams and by taking preventive measures to resolve any potential conflicts.
Ensure data accuracy in HR systems (Workday) in close collaboration with the central People services team
Keep up to date with legal requirements, providing suggestions for changes
Work alongside the HR Operational Team to align key processes, policy application and changes within the business
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Human Resources
Minimum of 5 years experience within HR in an international environment, preferably in a fast growing and changing tech/online environment
Experience with functioning in a management team of a strategic business line
Thorough understanding of HR practices, procesess and procedures, i.e. In-depth experience of (local) HR practices e.g. recruitment, performance management, reward & recognition, employee relations, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of Works Council
Excellent communication skills - Fluent in English (verbally and written), knowledge of Dutch or another European language is a plus
