Job Description
Main purpose:
The main purpose of the role is to support Total Reward (TR) & HR projects (including digital agenda); secure data accuracy and ongoing HR tool/systems optimization, with a specific focus on TR Analytics. It’s a combined HR and TR role, existing of HR Operations (approx. 50%) and Total Rewards activities (approx. 50%) for our 6 countries in North West Europe (NWE).
Accountabilities:
HR Operations (50%):
- Coordinate HR Ops projects with a focus on data accuracy + system/tools
- Drive the HR digital agenda: ambassador for implementation of new technology to ensure more efficient collaboration / Enable technology to increase/to simplify HR accessibility for broader business
- MyHR Gatekeeper for NWE: this involves escalated problem-solving, (change) communication, capability building, Manager Self-service champion, and act as local MyHR expert. First point of contact for ESSA HR Ops Team and MyHR Global team MyLearning Gatekeeper for NWE: partner with L&D Team to deliver BU L&D agenda to ensure professional development and provide timely reports;
- Coordinate internal and external HR audits;
- Support HRBP team on local Projects by ensuring confidentiality, 100% compliance (legal compliancy, internal policy compliancy), and accurate admin process (f.e. org redesign, Severance projects)
- Support HR Ops / TR Lead in Control Environment Agenda.
- Support TR Manager NWE during annual PMP & Salary Planning process, e.g. analyzing differences between EC and PMP tools, data preparation for salary surveys, and monthly set up of Comp Tool;
- Support on the Wellness certification process; roll-out Healthy Living initiatives in NWE and partner with HL teams on activations;
- Conduct Job Evaluations using the Hay methodology for Hay levels L1 – L5;
- Support on delivery of TR capability training (materials) and own local TR communications;
- Support with communication, reporting & administration related to the yearly update of TRS, Flexible Benefits and Warrants process;
- Preparation of all ad hoc & periodic reporting or analysis of remuneration/benefits related requests;
- Work on simplification and harmonization of benefits & TR policies within NWE;
- Support with day-to-day contract management and work with external providers (Aon, PwC, Fragomen);
- Consults business on local benefit programs (e.g. health, disability, pension, car, time off) where applicable;
- Be point of contact for Belgium R&D (“O&O”) tax excemption reporting formalities with external provider.
Qualifications/Requirements
Key skills/experience:
- A Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Human Resource Management;
- 1 to 5 years work experience, preferably in a multinational company;
- Excellent IT software knowledge (especially Excel, Powerpoint, and HR systems);
- Analytical skills necessary to perform compensation and benefits reviews;
- Basic knowledge of local HR/TR legislation;
- Proactively shares information, best practices, and ideas to build local capabilities;
- Experience of working in HR administration;
- The ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
