As N-able’s HR Advisor, you are the front line to our employees and leaders which requires quickly becoming a trusted advisor to our Netherlands employees. In this dynamic and multifaceted role, you will advise and execute the full spectrum of human resource strategies and programs to enable the business to achieve its goals.
With a strong emphasis on employee relations, you will conducting confidential and complex investigations, working with managers to build performance improvement plans, performance coaching, policy interpretation, compliance, terminations, and exit interviews in accordance with our policy, and government-mandated regulations. Serve as liaison between Managers and employees; advise and coach managers and employees, ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Coordinate with the Manager to provide information on addressing non-routine issues and making policy and procedural changes.
Collaborates/liaises with People Team functional area specialists (Compensation, Benefits, Talent, & People Tech), as well as business leaders to develop, implement and communicate programs aligned to functional goals in benefits & rewards, performance management, engagement, retention & mobility to build a great place to work.
Lead complex investigations and provide guidance and advice to management and employees to resolve highly sensitive and confidential workplace issues.
Ensure compliance with company legal and People practices within area of responsibility and with legislative and regulatory requirements, standards and other relevant policies and guidelines.
Identify trends and provide input to Manager and COE's to gather the right attention needed to resolve issues.
Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws.
Monitor and ensure the effective use of data to report key metrics and trends and to create actionable data for coaching and development for both internal clients and HR.
Provide assistance in generating and distributing required reports by developing queries for analysis and operational effectiveness.
Process employee exits/terminations via exit interviews and ensuring all is recorded in N-ablite Central.
Provide recommendations and implement solutions to motivate, develop and retain employees.
Lead, facilitate &/or participate in projects and employee training such as New Hire Orientation, The Way We Work, Annual Rewards, etc.
Extensive experience in Netherlands Works Council set up and management
Possess resilience and ability to handle high volume and pivot within a dynamic environment
Ability to analyze facts, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions
Strong consultancy (negotiation and influencing skills, ability to influence and drive positive change) needed for consensus building
Sound knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects within Netherlands employment and labor laws
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity.
Strong business acumen and broad experience with a proven track record and ability to partner and collaborate with colleagues, functional specialists and internal clients.
Self-starter and independent worker with the ability to adapt interpersonal style and influence effectively at all levels in the organization.
Demonstrated ability to use data to make decisions and support actions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare written reports, correspondence, and presentations
