For an international company in Amsterdam we are looking for an allround HR Advisor. For this company you will have an operational (70%) and tactical (30%) HR role. And you will fall directly under the CEO of the company. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for all the HR related administration, setting the HR strategy agenda for the company, including a strategy for recruiting and retraining talent together with the senior management of the company. Responsibilities HR Advisor
As a HR Advisor you are:
- Responsible for the recruitment of new employees and retention of current talent in the company;
- Serve as a "point of first contact" for all company's head office employees;
- Coordinating all responsibilities that come with retaining talent and the termination and retirement process;
- Manage employee relations and handle personal issues of employees;
- Reviewing and managing the appraisal process, including developing performance databases and researching compensation packages and benchmarks;
- Assist in the career development, team building, training and succession planning of the employees;
- Ensure that employees have the skills/(legal) qualifications necessary for carrying out their jobs;
- Keep up to date with relevant employee legislation;
- Monitoring employees leave in accordance with leave balance and leave policy.
Requirements HR Advisor
For the position of HR Advisor, we are looking for someone matching the following criteria;
- To have a good understanding of HR “best practice” policies including (Dutch) employment law;
- Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources Administration or a related field;
- 2-4 years of relevant experience within HR;
- Fluent written and spoken English, Dutch is a plus;
- The ability to negotiate and mediate, as well as to discipline;
- Awareness of how HR ties into the company’s commercial objectives;
- Highly dedicated and committed to company targets and strategy;
- Available 5 days a week.
