    Helpdesk Assistant
    This role is based out of the Telnyx Amsterdam office. You must be able to work from the Amsterdam office at least three times a week to be considered for this role.
    About you
    You are a high energy individual with a fun-loving, empathic attitude and are a mature, professional person who can handle challenging situations with grace and tact, paired with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.
    The opportunity
    This role requires a blend of traditional IT knowledge and experience, and knowledge on supporting Office Operations. A successful candidate will be a creative thinker, have a gritty work ethic, and great time-management and triage skills. This position will require someone who enjoys working collaboratively with teams and can self-motivate when working independently. This position will involve a lot of hands-on work with technical systems in the office, supporting local employees, and maintaining the office operations on a day-to-day basis.

    • Support, manage and deploy local infrastructure to the office
    • Troubleshoot any issues with our in-office technology (IoT devices, Crestron systems, A/V, Collaboration rooms)
    • Manage, improve and design office technology solutions such as digital signage and IoT solutions
    • Create and update documentation (internal documentation, help articles, cultivating self-service within the company)
    • Support management of the office such as working with the landlord, ordering supplies, and setting up desks and conference rooms
    • Supporting local event planning and execution
    • General Administrative support
    • Support, manage, and deploy Zero-Touch workstation deployment and remote management
    • Support a robust technical desk solution (Linux, Windows and Mac)
    • Work with vendors on procurement, returns and repairs
    • Continually improve the hardware and software options within the company
    • Develop remote friendly solutions

    Who we're looking for

    • Experience using Linux, Windows and macOS
    • Experience being a helpdesk agent, technical support or other technical liaison
    • Experience working with employees to support needs, requests and complaints
    • Experience automating yourself out of manual tasks
    • Willingness to learn and step outside your comfort zone
    • A/V and Telecom equipment experience
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Creative thinking skills

    Bonus points for

    • Previous VOIP experience
    • International work experience
