    Head of Project Governance (m/f/d)

    Large Projects DC focuses on the large DC projects of the German energy transition: SuedLink, SuedOstLink and DC MultiHubs. These ground-breaking DC projects are unique due to their complexity and size. We are planning, approving and building these DC projects as part of the transition to clean energy. An important basis for our projects is the high quality of our generated services.

    Duty station for this function is Arnhem (NL), Bayreuth (GER) or Lehrte (GER)
    This position is permanent.

    Your contribution to TenneT

    • In this position you deliver a corporate project governance and project management framework incorporating the requirements of the portfolio management initiative
    • You are responsible for an integrated quality and project management system for “build the electricity grid” with integration of other management systems like risk and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment)
    • You drive digitalization and harmonization of the project management tool landscape to increase efficiency across all Large Projects departments and to enable savings on IT costs
    • Your tasks include to enhance Lessons Learned and to Set up excellence clusters for Project Management Offices roles across Large Projects departments
    • You act as a role model and create the right context for employees to show the desired mind-set and behaviour in line with TenneT’s leadership profile (Connection, Ownership and Courage)

    Your Profile and background

    • This position requires an academic working and thinking level and a relevant university degree. Alternatively you have a comparable qualification
    • You have extensive experience in leading a team located in several locations. In addition you are a natural leader and a trusted partner for a diverse group of stakeholders/customers
    • You have in-depth knowledge of Project Management procedures and practical experience in Project Management or Project Management Offices
    • As we are an international team you have a very good knowledge of English and German or Dutch
    • Your responsibility is to ensure internal alignment and commitment to enable continuous improvement
