For our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team, responsible for our Global Real Estate (RE) portfolio, Facility management in Wolvega, Amersfoort and Wageningen and our Global Travel program, we are looking for a Global Travel Manager combined with team executive activities. In this role you are responsible for maintaining the Global Travel program and supporting the CRE team.
As Global Travel Manager you have a leading role in executing and maintaining the Global Travel program. You are responsible for monitoring FrieslandCampina’s travel behavior and make sure this behavior is in line with the Global Travel policy. When behavior and/or market circumstances changes it is your responsibility to make suggestions for amendments to the Global Travel policy. Furthermore, other responsibilities of the Travel manager is maintain the relation with the travel agent, update the travel tool, report on travel behavior and regular update in consultation with Procurement supplier contracts in order to ensure FrieslandCampina travelers are well equipped to safely travel against the right cost. Next to your activities as Global Travel manager you will support the CRE team in their back office processes, take a leading role in performance reporting and data analysis contributing to create an optimal Real Estate footprint and work environment for FrieslandCampina employees.
What we ask
5+ years of relevant experience in a highly dynamic international environment
Experience in the travel industry, preferably in the corporate travel sector
Experience and understanding of Real Estate and Facilities management
Affinity with financial and non-financial (Excell, Coupa and other reporting tools)
Preferably experience with Concur (booking tool)
Supplier and contract management skills
Knowledge of (travel related) local rules, habits and regulations
Fluency in Dutch and English (verbal & writing) great communication skills (empathic and influencing)
Strong advisory and stakeholder management (different levels of seniority)
Creative in order to solve problems and come with innovative solutions
Analyzes data for reporting and is able to simplify matters and make good presentations
Recognizes and progress new trends in the travel and Real Estate & facility industry
Proactive, energetic positive personality
Acts adequate, anticipate on time and know when to ask for support
Team worker, easily accessible, strong collaborator/connector
Accurate, structured and disciplined worker

Drive continuous improvement and synergies of travel programs/drive synergies across programs where possible
First point if contact for day to day traveler & supplier questions
Act as an travel consultant with the highest level of integrity
Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
Monitor savings opportunities and liaise with internal stakeholders to dynamically adjust travel program and traveler’s behavior
Supporting the CRE team in Amersfoort in optimizing and maintaining back office processes and data analysis & reporting (Financial and non-financial), such as invoicing, occupancy rates, project progress overviews, reporting on SHE incidents, sustainability performances and budget versus actuals.
Managing all internal communication in relation with Facility Management in Amersfoort and Wageningen
Create strong network to influence internal stakeholders with relevant reporting material
Share best practice & proven success structures with internal stakeholders
