    Global Transaction Reporting BAU Officer


    Imagine working in an internationally oriented environment of Wholesale & Rural domain of Rabobank:

    As a Global Transaction Reporting BAU Officer (BAU- Business as Usual) you help Rabobank achieve compliance with several transaction reporting regulations worldwide, such as: EMIR, DFA, MiFID II and more.

    The Global Transaction Reporting BAU team belongs to GTR (Global Transaction Reporting) team, together with In Control and Process Management team. The GTR team is situated in the Financial Market Service department, ultimately reporting to COO of Wholesale & Rural.

    Specifically, the BAU team acts as first line of defence, guaranteeing that in-scope transactions are reported in a timely, complete and accurate manner to financial regulators around the world. You will collaborate with IT, compliance, Transaction Reporting Area, among other stakeholders.

    What are your daily activities and responsibilities:

    We have a Straight Through Processing (STP) process in place. Together with your team,

    • You will solve various exceptions on transaction level to make sure all the transactions are correctly reported in a timely manner;
    • You will investigate complex issues across the entire value chain of the trade;
    • You will communicate with several regulatory parties that involves day to day business;
    • You will raise incidents and EPICs to relevant stakeholders to investigate and solve.
    • You will participate in continuous improvements to make sure that processes are optimized and risks are minimized.

    For this job, it is important you can handle stress situations.

    Due to the Corona situation we are currently working from home, 40 hours a week.

    Customer focus, analytical skills, creativity and problem solving skills are essential for the role of Global Transaction Reporting BAU Officer. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:

    • WO or HBO degree (higher professional education) with 1-3 years of work experience in financial/banking sector;
    • Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Fluent in English (verbal and writing);
    • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills;
    • Understands the lean way of working;
    • Understands complex process chains, front to back (is an advantage);
    • Knowledge of regulations such as: EMIR, DFA, MiFID II (is an advantage);
    • Knowledge of Financial Markets Products (is an advantage);

    • a gross monthly salary between €2,750.82 and € 4,586.28 (scale 7/8, depends on your experience and is based on 36 hours);
