Your mission is to support the Global Upstream Printed Pack Team for category strategy development and implementation on upstream materials in Danone. As Global Upstream Junior Buyer you will be responsible for mainly three things: 1. Market intelligence. Analyse what happens in the market and see what's the impact for Danone.
2. Strategy. Support the Global Category Manager Upstream Packaging with the strategy on several topics. This all with a fresh mind, innovative ideas and refreshing insights. Contribute to co-build and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy on Upstream materials based on DANONE requirements assessing productivity, innovation and simplification.
3. Pricing. Your task is to talk to some of the CBU's (other smaller countries) and sell the projects your team created; as a internal consultant. Talking to stakeholders is a really big and important thing of this role and it requires a level of seniority and maturity.
We don't have a preffered studie but you need to have a bachelor degree. Looking at your qualities and fields of interest, we define your tasks within this role.

Take ownership and make decisions.
Fluent in English is really important.
Ability to travel
There are also some compulsory requirements:
Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
Ideally available to start ASAP for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week;
You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
You are able to work from Hoofddorp, NL if the COVID-19 situation allows us to go to the office.
Please note that you are expected to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance* of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel if required.
