What are you going to do?
The Trouw Nutrition Feed Additive Department is an important pillar in the Trouw Nutrition’s growth strategy.
We use technologies based on organic acids, toxin binders and trace minerals to deliver solutions for salmonella control, feed safety, gut health in antibiotic-free production systems and nutritional efficiency enhancers.
For the Global Programme Management Team within Feed Additives, we are looking for a Global Programme Manager Swine Health to join the team.
As a Global Programme Manager, you will get the opportunity to manage, co-create and further develop the Swine Health Programme. In this role you work closely with the teams in the local markets.
This position offers a unique opportunity to become a front-runner in developing and implementing our sustainable operational programmes for replacing the use of antibiotics, securing food safety and improving the production efficiency at our customer level.
What are your key accountabilities?
Drive market activities and business planning in for the Health programme;
Develop our Health programme internationally;
Train sales staff in local markets;
Support local markets on sales cycles, value adding and key account management;
Provide expertise and technical support to our sales execution teams at their strategic accounts;
Support strategic customer accounts in the sales process;
Join customer visits together with the local sales colleagues;
Analyze market developments and customer needs to steer innovative product and programme management;
Provide input for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy;
Provide input for the development of concepts for services and content for marketing materials.
As a Global Programme Manager Swine Health, you report directly to the Programme Manager Lead.

What we ask
As a Global Programme Manager Swine Health, you are a team player who likes to collaborate with colleagues in HQ and in the local markets. You have an open mindset and a flexible ‘’let’s make things happen’’ attitude. You are self-driven, results-oriented and able to work independently with a sense of urgency and able to get things done.
What you bring
3-5 years of experience in an animal pharma or feed additives company in a commercial role where you have brought feed additives, gut health or related solutions to market. Good industry contacts and relationships;
Master’s degree in veterinary science, animal nutrition, animal production or animal health. Demonstrable knowledge of animal health and specific on gut health for monogastrics (swine or poultry);
Excellent training skills and ability to create and deliver compelling presentations, able to write technical reports, write trial protocols, interpret trial results, calculate the economic benefits and demonstrate value for the customer;
Proven ability to work with multi-cultural sensitivity in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams. Experience from a multinational company is considered as an advantage;
Fluent in English (writing and speaking) is mandatory, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Competent computer skills: Word, Excel/spreadsheets and Powerpoint;
Can undertake local and international travel up to 20-30% of working time;
