    Global Operational Excellence Leader

    The Global Operational Excellence Leader role’s purpose is to act as the central subject matter expert, gatekeeper and custodian of Operational Excellence tools, processes, and Blueprints- ensuring they are world class but fit with the business. This role is responsible for development of the frameworks and then supporting deployment through the BU Operational Excellence Managers and teams.

    We are currently at the early stages of our Operations Excellence journey and seek to develop the sites to deliver improvements in Cost/Margin while developing our operational maturity and competency. This role is critical in ensuring we have the tools, processes, framework and agreed blueprints to be able to successfully and sustainably deliver our Operational Excellence ambition.

    What are your key accountabilities?

    • Aligned leadership – in collaboration with the BU Operational Excellence Managers - Design & deploy Operational Excellence blueprints for all required tools and processes – aligned to maturity and roadmap.
    • Performance Routines & KPI’s – Ensuring we have a defined set of measures across the business to support strategy, being reviewed at correct frequency by correct people at desired quality. Working with The Operational Excellence Performance Process leader- to ensure scorecards and information is available to correct people at right time to drive performance and decision making.
    • Aligned Improvement tools – ensuring teams are equipped with relevant improvement tools / processes to achieve strategic goals. Ensure Blueprints are in place for Key processes & ways of working. To highlight improvement areas – develop and deploy maturity assessment and ensure all sites have annual maturity improvement plans in place.
    • Training of tools, processes and blueprints to the BU operational Excellence Managers and the BU leadership teams.
    • Aligned org model – Development and management of operational excellence competency framework.
    • Supporting Systems & Technology – Lead & manage the development & application of operational excellence systems across the company ensuring a common functionality & develop capability of users to enable best practice performance.
    • Lead complex cross company, BU, cross functional or end 2 end projects- as agreed by the Global Operational Excellence Director
    • Best practice sharing across group- ensuring creation and adoption is tracked.
    • Group wide benchmarking to drive performance- sites grouped into families based on technology, volume, product and then benchmarked on performance.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / food / feed or technical field. Master’s degree preferred
    • 3+ years of experience or sound exposure to operational Excellence subjects is required. Manufacturing or Maintenance experience will be highly valued. Work in OE consulting company is a plus.
    • Experience with Operational Excellence programs (Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma…) with associated certification
    • Trainer experience
    • Ability to work in both strategic and operational levels.
    • Good level of English in writing and speaking
