As Marketing Manager Dairy, you bring branded value propositions to market by developing and managing marketing and communications strategies for the dairy portfolio of products, programs and services. You also support in new innovation projects to meet future market needs.
You ensure that our products, programs and services are strategically and strongly positioned to meet customer’s needs across multiple markets. You do this in close collaboration with colleagues in cross-functional project teams and in our operating companies.
What are your key accountabilities?
In your role as Marketing Manager Dairy, you fulfill three responsibility areas:
To understand, anticipate and explore market trends, expressed and unexpressed customers/farmers’ unmet needs and take full advantage of them for the global dairy portfolio
Drive market research activities underpinning the development of the marketing strategy.
Participation in new product development projects in multidisciplinary teams with R&D, registration, quality, procurement, sustainability teams and colleagues from local operations.
Portfolio & Life Cycle Management
Develop and roll out the yearly marketing brand plan for dairy
Identify and assess new market opportunities, monitor customer satisfaction and understanding of our offerings, and identify offering improvements based on market feedback.
Responsible for the marketing management of the dairy portfolio of products/services to ensure supply, pricing, communications and branding strategies are effective in selective markets.
Monitor sales and market share developments in key sales areas and regularly report these to the Dairy Lead, other team members and key local market managers
Responsible for the management of new claims, labels, trademarks and geographic expansions of a brand over time
Responsible for target market description, development of clear, competitive and market relevant value propositions, value-based pricing, sales & marketing mixes and the launch of new value propositions.
Coach on branding, marketing and communications to create a consistent culture of marketing and internal alignment on marketing processes.
Establish key relationships across global functions and with local marketing managers, delivering marketing expertise and excellence where required.
Actively embody a culture of marketing excellence that advances and advocates the added value generated from a community of like-minded and best in class marketers.

What we ask
As a Marketing Manager Dairy, you are a marketing specialist with demonstrated experience in ruminant animal health/nutrition. You have international leadership experience and you are a cross-functional team player. You like to collaborate with others. You have a strategic and analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
What you bring
Academic degree in marketing management preferably with a Bachelor or Master Degree in Science, Health Science or Business
Minimum of 5 years experience in the ruminant animal health/nutrition industry preferably in marketing. International experience with global brands as an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years product/brand management experience with a proven track record of developing and executing marketing plans in the agricultural industry
Demonstrated team leadership experience and ability to produce results with cross functional teams
Intercultural management skills, adaptability to work across countries and able to build an international network.
Excellent communication skills and team working abilities with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Creativeness, strategic orientation and good analytical and operational skills.
Language: Business English to a high level, other languages as an advantage.
Travel would be approximately 25% internationally
