    Global Logistics Coordinator

    What are you going to do?

    In the position of Global Logistics Coordinator you will be part of the global logistic procurement team and will assist the global logistics procurement team in being world class in sourcing and execution of global logistics to serve Nutreco’s businesses, suppliers and customers (=our Mission & Vision).

    You are engaged in contract management for all global container logistics activities regarding administration, procurement and execution. And you will train users and act as a super-user of the logistics tools.

    Furthermore, you are engaged in:

    • Help to resolve operational logistics issues and rolling out the new way of working;

    • Ensure that all processes and procedures continue to be organized in a standardized, automated and transparent way;

    • Define, develop, implement and monitor KPI’s and Milestones to improve OpCo and supplier performance;

    • Execute sourcing of logistics rates and services and ensure delivery of contracted rates;

    • Analyze and report market information to the OpCo’s and other stakeholders, like Procurement and Cluster Management;

    • Timely and complete communication of all issues and opportunities related to the execution of logistics, including documentation.

    You will report directly into the Global Category Manager Logistics.

    What else is in it for you?

    • We will offer you a fulltime position, 40 hours per week (minimum 32 hours per week);

    • Your position is classified in a Nutreco Hay scale;

    • You will get 30 vacation days, with the possibility to sell or purchase a limit amount of days;

    • Attractive salary based on skills and experience -paid in 12 monthly payments- plus Holiday allowance in May;

    • Responsibility for your own projects and development opportunities within the company.

    • The possibility to work both in the office and from home (when we are allowed to go to the office again).

    What we ask

    For this position we are looking for a candidate who understands the logistic process and knows in which way the prices are established. Procurement experience is a plus but not a requirement.

    You are able to work independently, are organized and sensitive to deadlines. You are able to recognize situations that warrant attention and develop practical solutions. Besides that, you are strong analytical and able to effectively communicate (in written and spoken English) about your analysis and results. And you are a pro-active problem solver and results oriented and you are an excellent team worker.


    What you bring

    You have at least 2 years working experience in an international logistics area as well as some experience in the area of customer service. You have knowledge of and experience with Transport Management Systems and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent knowledge of Excel is a definite plus. You are a networker and you possess effective communication skills.

    Furthermore, you have:

    • A Bachelor degree or level, e.g. in Business, Logistics, Economics or Supply Chain Management or equal by experience;

    • Some experience with ERP or related systems (e.g. M3, BI Tools);

    • Knowledge of project management;

    • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
