    Global Events Manager

    Job Description

    Your role at Mambu
    We are looking for a Global Events Manager to help us grow the global events programme, to create more amazing experiences by extending and diversifying the types of events that we host, sponsor, create or participate in.
    If you see the challenge and opportunity in spending months on an event (and you’ll have a few!), creating it from scratch, engaging internal and external stakeholders and playing around with all the pieces of this "puzzle" from concept to execution - all while keeping everything under control, then you’re the one we want.

    Your key responsibilities

      • Plan and execute corporate/global event activities - both own-hosted and industry conferences - that align with Mambu’s focus to revolutionise banking as we know it
      • Help promote the brand by continuing to position it us a thought leader, while delivering an outstanding experience that will bring in the right sales leads and strengthen opportunities
      • Collaborate with various teams to explore new opportunities to expand the executive events programme that Mambu is hosting and running
      • Run virtual/in person/hybrid events, plan and coordinate all relevant logistical aspects and make sure their delivery reaches the desired outcomes
      • Negotiate and execute contracts for large, medium and small-scale events
      • Negotiate and execute contracts with event-related vendors and contractors
      • Identify and coordinate co-marketing opportunities arising from events and the industry
      • Reporting on events using Salesforce and other platforms

    What you’re bringing to the table

      • At least 5 years as an Event Manager in a fintech, banking or financial services environment; you should have experience in managing both in-person and virtual events globally
      • You have vast experience in working across multiple disciplines - teamwork is essential, as work with other departments is involved: content & PR, design, social media and campaigns, field marketing, reporting and analysis, website, etc.
      • You are creative, proactive and you bring in new IDEAS
      • Extremely organised and a keen eye for detail (as all event managers must be!), but also a creative and daring mind that identifies new opportunities for Mambu
      • The capacity to work autonomously and the skill of being a fast learner, always willing to adapt and evolve
      • Native level English (written and spoken), other languages a plus
      • Humble & appreciating others, a true team player who values other perspectives
      • The desire to add value and to make an impact, whilst delivering outstanding results
