As Global Assortment Manager, you are the guardian for setting the Global Assortment for Rituals. Next to the overall assortment, you are also responsible for creating local assortments for current operational and new countries. Next to our retail locations, we also have other points of sale (wholesale, travel, online, etc) which are included in your assortment responsibilities.
Together with internal departments, you will influence go-to-market strategies in order to drive profitable growth. Product launches and coordinating the efforts of commercialization planning are also a part of your job. As a Global Assortment Manager you will be working closely with your peers who are globally responsible for Category Analysis and Pricing. For 36-40 hours per week, your main tasks and responsibilities are:
Create the final assortment list (including consumer prices per line of business and per country)
Play a pivotal role in launching our brand in new countries (from an assortment/data point of view)
Communicate & coordinate key strategies, insights and initiatives between commercial and internal teams
Create clear parameters & structure for the decision process regarding assortment choices
Develop and execute a revenue growth management strategy, driving top- and bottomline growth
Ensure alignment and accountability on forecast attainment, budget, business planning and trade objectives
Excellent stakeholder management skills: gatekeep new country process, ensuring all relevant data is available and accessible

The position of Global Assortment Manager is a new position within Rituals. Situated within the overarching ‘Innovations & Sustainability’ department at our Central Head Office in Amsterdam, you are a part of the subteam ‘Innovation Operations’. Due to Rituals’ growth and expansion into new territories, our goal is to work more and more data driven. Together with the Product Category Analyst, Pricing Manager, Senior NPD Manager, Program Manager and the Process Manager QSS you will be the heart of our product development data, assortment and pricing strategy worldwide.

And you’re a great person to be around! Apart from all these qualities, as a Global Assortment Manager you also have the following background and experience to offer:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Economics or a relevant field
Seven or more years of experience within Consumer Goods, FMCG and/or cosmetics
Strong project- and process management skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities
Clear experience with product analysis and -performance
Fluent English skills (verbal & written)
