Collins Foods Limited (CFL) is an Australia listed company and is the largest franchisee of KFC Restaurants in Australia operating almost 250 KFC restaurants. Collins Foods commenced their European expansion in 2016, with the purchase of KFC restaurants in Germany and in 2017 with the purchase of KFC restaurants in The Netherlands. Currently Collins Foods Europe operates 17 restaurants in Germany and 23 in The Netherlands.
Collins Foods Netherlands Restaurant Support Centre is in Amsterdam and is the main hub for above-store staff who support a workforce of over 1,800 employees across Netherlands. The Support Centre houses several divisions including Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Human Resources, Property & Construction, Facilities, and Restaurant Operations.
What are your tasks & responsibilities?
Preparation of weekly sales journals and management of restaurant cash and pin/card and petty cash reconciliations and resolving variances in a timely and effective manner
Daily processing and coding of bank statement entries into finance system and investigation into exceptions
Management and processing of low volume accounts receivable including maintenance of customer master data, invoice creation, customer liaison and period reconciliation of accounts receivable to general ledger
Periodic preparation of restaurant closing inventory journal including integrity review
Processing of intercompany transactions and accompanying journals and reconciliations
Work with our restaurant delivery partners to ensure accuracy of monthly commissions and ensuring accurate recoding of invoices and commissions
Management of restaurant cash requirements and liaising with restaurant management and external providers to resolve problems as they arise
Periodic compilation of internal control documentation
Ad-hoc bank processing of customer refunds
Other journals and reconciliations as required
Various tasks as required supporting financial accounting processes
In this position you will have the following internal stakeholders: finance team, restaraurant Management, Area Coaches and the Management Team.
Who are you?
Minimum 3 years' experience
Knowledge in working with ERP accounting systems, Oracle JDE Enterprise One strongly
Excellent Excel skills and ability to pick up new systems easily
Excellent team working skills and ability to influence without authority
Be comfortable with a dynamic changing environment and want to contribute to the improved change
Excellent communication skills both internally across distances and externally
