    Game Artist Internship

    Are you a talented (game) art student and would you like to make art for games in virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D printing, the 3D laptop and development projects? At ING Tech Research & Development you will be able to take your expertise to the next level and make maximum use of your knowledge while working in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere.

    Our team, ranging from young talented interns with a variety of backgrounds to tech and business experts, is united in their shared fascination for cutting-edge technologies and how these technologies can be deployed within our products and solutions to keep adding values for our customers. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, together with game designers, artists and developers you get the chance to work on a project from scratch to deliverable.
    From a creating a VR experience of the Nightwatch of Rembrandt van Reijn, the first ING NFT and security processes in serious gaming to an educational blockchain simulation. These are just a small range of projects that we have worked on.

    At Tech R&D we encourage the agile way of working. You will participate in recurring scrum events such as the daily scrum, review sessions and retrospectives. You will also be in close contact with stakeholders of the project.
    You can take it on and make it happen. We believe in autonomy, but we also find the interests of the team important. Within our department we offer you as many opportunities and support as possible to develop yourself personally and professionally.

    What you will do

    • Use your design skills: come up with concepts, brainstorms, sketches, mock-up’s and research

    • Attending meetings with stakeholders

    • Brainstorming with the team

    • You will design and create art in either 2D or 3D

    Your skills

    • Basic knowledge of 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender)

    • Knowledge of Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator or another 2D design program

    • Independent and conceptual mind-set

    • Flexible attitude

    • You can contribute proactive in the process of designing an app, website or game

    • You are able to express your idea’s in sketches, brainstorms and verbally and you can turn these idea’s into a final design

    • Willing to learn/work in 2D and 3D
