For our fresh and fast-growing eCommerce start-up, we are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and communicative Functional Application Administrator to strengthen our team!
At this position, you will be in charge of identifying and owning the full potential of applications, their tools, integrations, features, etc. With the increase in our application landscape and questions from colleagues, the team really needs a person who will help and instruct them on their correct use. You will play a key role in understanding the ecosystem, identifying why tools are used and what potential your colleagues could get out from these tools.
You are not taking on this challenge alone. You will work as part of both the product and tech teams, where developers, business analysts, and BI specialists will help you understand the current workings and help in optimizing the future course of the application landscape.
In this role you will:
Monitor and maintain application.
Test and assist implementation of new and existing applications.
Take over important documentation.
Analyze and resolve (future) issues.
Advice management and make recommendations for better use.
Consult the team with application users.
What will you bring to the table:
2+ years of experience in Functional or/and Technical Application Administration.
HBO with a background in technical business administration, IT, or equivalent business & IT education.
Understanding of JSON / XML.
Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.
Experience with database management.
Experience with Information system troubleshooting.
Experience preparing workflow analysis.
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
Stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize.
Nice to have:
Experience working with Product systems like Mirakl, Hubspot, Segment, Postman, or other ones.
Understanding of API connectivity (rest/soap).
Knowledge of BiSL or other service management libraries.
Fluency in Dutch.
Analytical and system thinking: you befriended with analytics and data a long time ago and you can identify what is better to use for a specific need.
Asking yourself Why? How? Is there any better way? You are not afraid of doubting yourself and try to explore all the possibilities you have or might have.
Communicative: you build relationships easily and be able to explain hard-to-get tech things in easy words.
