    Does "Hospitality" runs through your veins? Are you that ambassador of Amsterdam, who cannot get enough of sharing the secrets of the city? Do you love to connect and engage with guests and surprise them repeatedly? Well, this could be your chance; we are looking for our Front Office Host at Max Brown Canal District in Amsterdam! The one that will make sure that every Max Brown guest will feel like a local.


    Our Front Office team at Max Brown Canal District consist of 7-9 team members. As a team, we work closely to build and maintain the team spirit high and energetic! This team has many talents and keeps on developing their Barista, Cocktails, and local beer skills. A team to feel free who you are as individual. Our team wants to create cozy and charming homebased for all ambassadors, guests & friends.


    We aim to help each other within the team and support our locals to maximize our common goal to spread the joy of cozy travelling to as many people as possible.

    About You

    • You are an easy-going and hospitable professional with both front office and bar skills;
    • It’s in your nature to stay up-to-date, discover all new inside-outs of Amsterdam and their secrets to share with Max’s guests;
    • You have previous experience as a Front Office Host and would love to combine it with your F&B skills;
    • You are able to create and nurture a cozy and fun environment to your guests and team.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcoming and being the first point of contact either from a front office or bar perspective;
    • Working with the team to deliver an unforgettable guest experiences;
    • Process and handling all guest check-ins, checkouts, calls, requests and questions;
    • Handling bookings/ reservations and/or providing information about reservations in absence of the booking office ( during evenings, nights and weekends);
    • Providing guests with directions and information about the secrets of the city;
    • Working closely together with our housekeeping and maintenance team.

    Job requirements

    • MBO diploma or Bachelor degree, preferably MHS/HHS or tourism education;
    • Minimum one year of relevant work experience in a Front Office role (internship including);
    • Flexibility in working morning, evening and night shifts and weekends.
