    Food & Beverage Management Trainee

    Do you have a passion for food & beverage? Do you love to combine administration and operations in one internship? Are you known for your organisation skills? You can be our new F&B Management Trainee!

    The perfect candidate has:
    • Attending an MBO or HBO Hotel school or tourism education
    • Experience in Food & Beverage
    • An hospitable and service-minded attitude
    • A motivated and a proactive work attitude
    • Flexible and team player mentality
    • Sufficient knowledge of the English language is mandatory. Dutch is preferred
    • Availability for a minimum of 20 weeks, 5 days a week.

    • 38-hours work week
    • A trainee allowance of €500,- per month
    • Sunday allowance of 5% and Night allowance of 20%

    The main responsibilities include:
    • Operationally support F&B team members and take on supervisor shifts when necessary
    • Provide personalized guest service according to We Make Moments
    • Efficient handling of guest complaints and give proper follow-up
    • Promote outlet concepts and up-sell according to the outlet targets
    • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
    • Follow up and assist in requests from the Food & Beverage Manager
    • Ensure brand compliance standards
    • Join internal meetings and training courses offered
    • Strive to achieve departmental KPI’s
    • See to cleanliness of work areas
    • Be environmentally aware
    • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintaining an overall good working relationships

    The Food & Beverage department consists of the Silk Road restaurant, the Banqueting facilities and our Silk Bar. As Food and Beverage Management Trainee you will be responsible for customer relationship management; promoting F&B concept; assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with administrative tasks; supporting in the operations and take on supervisor shifts when necessary
