For our central team in Hoofddorp we are looking for a Financial Controller Stock. In this role you will be responsible for managing the financial control of the processes surrounding the stock at Scotch & Soda Group (retail, wholesale and E-commerce) and involved in the various exciting projects: RFID, new POS roll-out and other digitalization projects!

Reporting directly to the Group Accounting & Reporting Director, you will join the very welcoming and dynamic GL team at our HQ, work closely with different other departments.

You are the guardian of:
Monitoring, reconciling and controlling inventory in the different systems (POS, ERP etc.)
Setting up of inventory reporting and analytics
Preparing month-end close stock related accounting journals and specifications
Working closely with POS product owner and BI Manager to automate stock reporting and increasing data liability
Coordinating correct administration of stock at different locations
Improving stock related policies, controls and processes
Initiating and follow up on cycle counts and stock count

Our ideal candidate:
A bachelor degree in Economics or other related field or equivalent by experience
Results driven, analytical, positive, proactive, team player, you enjoy interacting with your colleagues and digging into discrepancies
5 year working experience (but we value your motivation more than the number of years!)
Experience with (wholesale/retail related) stock accounting will be highly valued
Interest in retail and fashion industry is a big plus
Fluent in written and spoken English, any other language will be an asset (we are very international)
