Your main responsibilities are:
Assist the general accounting function, inclusive of processing and maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and maintain accounting records including data entry for day to day business transactions
Participate and play an active role in the internal and external audits
Prepare the monthly group reporting for a portfolio of companies to the head office in Oslo
Ensure filing of finance administrative documents, data, workbooks and internal controls are maintained and optimized
Assist the assessments of complex accounting matters and projects within the Netherlands
Provide explanations, background and input to monthly actual results against the budget and prepare an overall review of the variances
Assist the Finance manager in implementing projects to design, setting up, test, implement and evaluate a framework for internal controls based on group guidelines.
Assist the finance team with input into the monthly VAT filings
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications and competencies:
Bachelor degree within finance or accounting
3-5 years of experience within the areas of finance, accounting, auditing, tax and internal controls.
Relevant expertise with Dutch GAAP, IFRS is a plus
Fluent in English
Experience from and are motivated to work in a diverse cultural environment
You are used to changing environments and to quickly meet new challenges
Experience with financial reporting
