Job Description This role is part of the Cost of Sales & Inventory (COSI) matrix organization which performs end-to-end supply chain financial activities, from the manufacturing phase to the final delivery of the product to our customers. The position is within the Asia Pacific & Latin America HUB team and you will be responsible for controlling product cost, supply chain flows, and the balance sheet and P&L of your assigned entities. You will be a business partner to your Japanese stakeholders and support entity analysis.
Main tasks will be:
Controlling & reporting all inventory-related activities, product & period costs;
Maintaining standard costs in line with our Manufacturing & Human Health divisions' guidance;
Providing quality support to a wide range of stakeholders on consolidated financial results;
Supporting the month-end cycle for your assigned legal entities;
Responsible for creating and maintaining product costs in accordance with US GAAP;
Performing month-end cycle activities and providing detailed comments on financial statements;
Providing analysis on consolidated costs and intercompany profit elimination
Preparing and executing SOX controls and maintaining a strong control environment;
Ensuring internal operational deadlines are met in a timely and quality manner;
Support the annual manufacturing cost and cost of sales budget cycle for your entities;
Actively participate in improvement efforts and enhancement initiatives within the team;
Core requirement, you need to be fluent in Japanese & English;
Holds a BSc / MSc degree in finance/accounting-related field.
Has 1-3 years of experience, preferably in one of (Controlling, Accounting, FP&A, Consolidation) and has some experience working with ERP and reporting systems;
Has good stakeholder management skills;
Has a natural drive to engage in development;
Has good Excel, Power BI, SAP BW, or similar system skills;
