To ensure sustainable and structured growth, we are looking to hire a Financial Manager for our Dutch entities able to both consolidate existing finance activities and accompany the local management and company on the embarked growth strategy providing the necessary support and methodology.
The Finance Manager (m/f/x) will take control of the entire process of accounting and finance for two legal entities with three production sites, reporting to the Group CFO in Switzerland. This is a hands-on role that challenges you to implement structure, solve problems and improve procedures. As a result, it is ideal for you to be in the office at least 4 out of 5 days a week.
Accounting overall - 70%
Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, etc
Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations
Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
Set up a management reporting for submission to CFO in Switzerland
Production and Sales margins related:
Analyse monthly product margin and production cost
Carefully monitor and interpret variances between actual cost and standard cost
Periodically review standard cost model and liaise with CFO to discuss potential adjustments
Analyse cost structure and variances against budget and identify cost saving potentials
Planning - 8%
Rolling liquidity planning
Responsible for local planning procedures
Opportunity to be involved in shaping 5-year group business plan
Processes and compliance - 2%
Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up
Prepare annual external audit and accompany local auditors
Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
Ensure correct tax and VAT treatments and accounting
Working experience in Microsoft Dynamic is crucial
Min 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting
Experience in production environment and/or in food or pharmaceutical industry
Good MS Office skills particularly strong in Excel
BSc Business Administration or Degree in Accounting/Finance/CPA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
Relevant experience in audit and costing/setup of standard cost models is advantageous (cost of production in certain goods)
Familiarity in IFRS is advantageous
Able to work independently, motivated, and hands-on
Methodical and structured work approach, meticulous
