In this role you manage a team of five Financial Analysts in a coaching manner and you safeguard the quality of the financial information. You provide reliable reports and analyses for the head office in Chicago and various stakeholders within AbbVie Logistics, which means you always have to be up to date with current laws and regulations.

You report to the Controller Inventory & Direct Cost and indirectly also to the ECM Finance Director External Contract Manufacturing. You are an important member of the local team in Zwolle, but also a sparring partner of the Management Team ECM. You are always in control with the right management information and you contribute to the strategic goals of the Finance department. In addition, you and the team are ultimately responsible for:

• Supervising transactional close and reporting of monthly financial results for AbbVie Third Party Manufacturing (TPM), Internal Toll Manufacturing (ITM) and Supply Chain activities performed in two legal entities based in the Netherlands
• Managing master data and process costing for all active materials (currently 5000+) in two legal entities
• Reporting actuals and submitting LBE, Plan and LRP for key third party partnerships within the RSM/API business unit to External and Contract Manufacturing Leadership Team
• Engaging with ECM business partners to translate business developments into financial consequences and provide financial analytics support for third party negotiations
• Developing and maintaining internal controls related to inventory valuation and material standards
• Supporting cross-functional teams to assure New Product Introduction readiness for two legal entities
• Assessing impact and coordinating finance activities related to changes in Product Financial Flows
• Coaching and developing a team of five financial analysts
• Stakeholder management and process improvement initiatives for costing and performance reporting processes
• Supporting Allergan integration activities within the field of finance
