    Events Intern

    The role

    You will be helping out event manager on a day-to-day basis with organising and executing events, and communicating with different stakeholders. You will be able to see what it's like to work with a young driven team, high-pace productions and how to think on top of your feet. You will work under the supervision of our events managers and act as a liaison between external stakeholders (e.g. production suppliers, clients) and internal stakeholders (e.g. marketeers, program team). The position will give you the opportunity to rapidly develop your skills while being coached by a team that has multiple years of experience when it comes to organising industry-defining events.

    Please note that some of the responsibilities and tasks are currently done virtually before we return to the office full-time, but you will be required to be on-site for some events.

    Responsibilities

    • Co-host our flagship event in Amsterdam on June 16-17.
    • Assist our (senior) event managers on weekly projects; our volunteer program, talent program and multiple internal projects.
    • Get familiar with the backend of our website to be able to master our event pages.
    • Be the point of contact for our external and internal stakeholders.
    • Support other initiatives and team members where necessary.

    Your knowledge & skills

    • Proactive in your approach to work, creative, and enjoys working within a team.
    • Remains calm in a fast-paced, multi-tasked role.
    • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (English language).
    • Currently live in, or are able to commute to work in Amsterdam.
    • Available 5 days a week from mid-January/February until the end of June.
