What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

The successful candidate will:

• Be experienced in teaching senior school English Language and Literature
• Have experience of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and/or Diploma Programme (IB MYP/DP) and wider philosophy.
• Be responsible for collaborating on curriculum design, including the development of concept-based units of inquiry with authentic assessment tasks.
• Be able to engage, and differentiate for the needs of, students at all levels
• Be interested in using a constructivist approach to learning and developing autonomous learners.
• Be enthusiastic about promoting international understanding and service learning.
• Be committed to high standards of organisation
• Be visible and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
• Be flexible, creative and resilient
• Be a collaborative team member who is keen to support the development of the wider school community.

What will you bring to the table?The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or other relevant degree with teaching qualification
• Relevant international teaching experience
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

• Able to demonstrate creativity, compassion and a desire to make a difference in the learning of our children
