Embedded in teams across the company, strategy professionals explore complex business issues; conduct consumer, competitive and market analyses; create financial models and develop action plans. The Strategic Planning teams help write the future of sport by charting Nike’s path forward.

The EMEA Consumer Strategy team defines the strategy for and across Nike’s Consumer Construct in our geography. The team is responsible for building the 3-year Consumer Strategic Plans as well as leading high-impact x-Consumer Construct projects.

Our team sits in the Women’s, Men’s, Kids, Jordan and Global Football Partnerships Leadership teams. We act as thought partners to the Consumer VPs to challenge status quo and build Nike’s future Consumer Strategy.

While part of the wider Strategy function, we work with multiple stakeholders including Consumer Insights, Brand Marketing, Product Merchandising, Demand Planning, Consumer Finance, Nike Direct and Partners.

We are in search for a consumer-centric strategist to challenge conventional thinking and who is comfortable navigating ambiguity to bring focus. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading complex, multi-functional projects across a range of consumer-first topics (consumer segmentation, portfolio strategy, online and offline experience, etc.).

We’re looking for a strategy leader with experience in top-tier strategy consulting, industry/consumer strategy and/or innovation consulting. This person will be comfortable operating at C-suite level, with proven influencing and problem structuring skills.

If this is you, you’ll be working with the EMEA Strategy Team and the Consumer VPs to define the future of the Consumer Construct, the primary axis of Nike’s Consumer Direct Acceleration.

You will be defining future strategic choices regarding which consumers we serve, what we offer and how we engage with them – and will partner with other functions across the organization to execute the strategy.

You will be a critical thought partner to the EMEA Consumer Leadership, whilst taking individual ownership of strategic project work, as well as the annual strategic planning process. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to how, as a Strategy team, we bring outside-in fresh perspectives to continue to define the future of sport.

The successful candidate will be a key player of the EMEA Consumer Strategy team, reporting into the EMEA Consumer Strategy Director, and working on a daily basis with the EMEA Consumer VPs and their Leadership teams (Men’s, Women’s, Kids, Jordan and Global Football Partnerships). Critical stakeholder groups include: Global Strategy, EMEA Strategy, Insights, Marketing, Merchandising, DSM, Consumer Finance, Nike Direct and Partners.
