We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Planner to build and monitor financial budgets, manage stock positions, forecast sales, provide analytical insights to buying and drive sales, profitability and margin across our D2C digital platforms. The ideal candidate for this key role within our global E-commerce team will function as the link between the financial budget, buying, stock and commercial sales performance and contribute to our channel’s growth and achievement of strategic brand and financial goals.
YOU WILL
Pre-season:
- Create the e-commerce pre-season KPI, sales and seasonal buy budgets in close contact with the central buying & planning team
- Create the buying plan per gender and category in close alignment with buying
- Act as a gatekeeper for the e-commerce budget when attending alignment and financial roll-up meetings in the pre-buy season and provide input and feedback to the buyer when needed
- Define and implement an assortment planning strategy for our seasonal and NOS ranges to maximize sales, margin and stock management in line with financial goals
In-season:
- Own and operate the E-commerce WSSI and with it the in-season forecast of sales, stock, markdown and margin. Define, report and implement actions based on forecast scenarios
- Communicate and present e-commerce merch planning strategy and insights to peers and senior audiences
- Own and drive the replenishment for seasonal and NOS stock, driving healthy sell-through, availability and full-price business in collaboration with buying
- Analyze performance of seasonal and NOS items to provide insights and recommend trading actions
- Provide pricing and markdown recommendations, in alignment with omnichannel strategy, to maximize sales & profitability. Provide input on promotional planning and communicate the plan to stakeholders
- Lead the weekly, monthly and quarterly trade meetings. E.g. prepare the presentation, lead the meeting, analyze KPIs against budget and forecast, define trading actions and document conclusions after the meeting
- Attend the weekly allocation meeting, share insights with the team and take action where needed
- Lead the monthly return meeting and analysis around it to arrive at actions to drive the return rate down
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce, Fashion, Business management or related field
- Budget and forecast planning experience in E-commerce combined with working knowledge and strong understanding of Ecommerce KPIs and retail maths
- Highly analytical, structured, proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
