    As e-Commerce Manager you are responsible to successfully manage the online retail channel within the NL Consumer Health Care organization

    This includes:

    • End to end ownership of eCommerce portfolio
    • Actively drive the GSK eCommerce agenda both internally and externally
    • Actively seek & exploit new eCommerce business opportunities
    • Dare to fail: Test, learn & scale new opportunities
    • Own eCommerce content delivery across the portfolio of customers
    • Brief eCommerce content requirements (imagery, descriptions, additional content, ratings & review) aligned to brand guidelines in cross collaboration with the Area eCommerce & Digital Content Managers and Brand Management

    Your responsibilities:

    • Daily management of eCommerce accounts (pure players & online channels at traditional Key Accounts).
    • Financial Management:
      • Delivery on sales, G2N, customer investment and Gross Margin objectives
      • Active driver of NRM initiatives
    • You deliver on market share targets
    • Strategic Account Planning & Account Development: To recognize and prioritize the key business development opportunities, risks and strategies that will maximize sales and profitability of each of the accounts within the portfolio.
    • You create and execute strategies across accounts, guided by market dynamics, channel segmentation and channel strategy. Oversees alignment to overall Ecommerce channel, customer plans and executes appropriately.
    • Lead identification of new initiatives for implementation.
    • You are fully engaged in the business planning cycle. Assess and understand the key drivers of sales and profit growth. Provide framework for specific activity across portfolio of accounts. In accordance with annual business planning process.
    • You develop overall conclusions regarding accounts, markets, and competitive business results, using complex data from multiple sources. This requires proficiency in the use and interpretation of syndicated (e.g. AC Nielsen, Clavis) and/or proprietary information and databases. The findings are used to identify opportunities and forecast results.
    • You lead the customer negotiation, develop customer negotiation strategies and framework, operating to minimize exposure and maximize return.

    Basic Qualifications:

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

    • HBO / University degree in business administration, economics or related
    • 2+ years of work experience within a FMCG organization
    • Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch
    • Relevant commercial experience
    • An understanding of the online & eCommerce marketplace
    • Understanding of eCommerce channels & principles to win (omni-channel, pure players)
    • Understanding and insight into Digital shelf principles & data analytics.
    • Capable to manage many stakeholders at all levels within and outside the company
    • Strong skills in communication
    • Working understanding of marketing, supply chain and financial management to ensure seamless cross functional working.
    • Understanding of sales and forecasting processes,
    • Financial numeracy to be able to build strategically sound, financially robust proposals that exploit opportunities within accounts.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

    • Solid eCommerce & Digital experience, preferably in combination with FMCG sales experience
    • Can communicate with impact & across different levels across the organization and are able to influence the organization as an ecommerce ambassador
