The position is based in the Netherlands but the scope, projects and strategy is global.

    As the Identity Management Solution Architect, you will be an important contributor of our IAM transformation.

    The key responsibilities of the Identity Management Solution Architect includes:

    • Design Identity management solutions from an architecture perspective for a business or technology domain that are economically sensible, commercially viable to enable business objectives
    • Translate business requirements into Identity management architecture and solution architecture deliverables - in close cooperation with enterprise architects, business analysts and program/ project managers and including the following elements:
      • Ensure license efficiency
      • Comply with vendor strategy guidelines
      • Design future proof and scalable solutions
      • Consult with peer group on integration of domains
      • Taking into account transition planning from target state to deployed
      • Incorporating relevant market trends and technology trends
      • Incorporating the IT service catalogue
      • Enable ‘innovation by design’
    • Review the Identity management design for every new or changed solution and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, policies, and procedures
    • During IT solution development and implementation, ensure that that solution is developed in line with approved solution design and that solution design is maintained consistently
    • Deliver guidance using defined architecture artefacts (high level design, detailed technical design, etc)
    • Steer and guard overall Identity management architecture working with multiple stakeholders
    • Ensure all security and compliance aspects are taken into account in local architecture (secure by design, compliant by design)

    Required experience:

    • Computer Science degree
    • 4+ years in IAM specific positions
    • 6+ years in IT (including IAM) positions
    • Experience in an organization with a large number of user accounts (30,000+)

    Good understanding of these technologies, principles and products

    • Identity lifecycle management (joiner, mover, leaver)
    • Role based access control (RBAC) and attribute based access control (ABAC)
    • Identity processing (account synchronization, reconciliation)
    • HR platforms (preferably SAP SuccessFactors)
    • Directories (Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, LDAP, IBM Directory services)
    • Identity Management platforms (preferably IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM/ITIM), Microsoft AAD Connect, Saviynt)
    • Middleware services (Mulesoft)
    • Authentication standards (SAML, OAuth)
    • Modern provisioning through SCIM
    • Azure Active Directory and related identity security services (MFA, PIM, Administrative units, Identity Protection, custom attributes, security groups)
    • PowerShell and Graph API, and general REST API
    • Basic understanding of DevOps methods and principles
