    Distribution Manager CEE

    What are you going to do?

    In the position of Distribution Manager Central-Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for increasing and maintaining the customer portfolio in several countries in Eastern Europe. The position is based on home office with frequent travels across Balkan and neighboring countries and regular meetings in the international headquarters, based in Prague, Czech Republic.

    This position is focused on a territory in which we have a relatively small footprint compared to other regions. This means that our Distribution Manager works largely independently and has fewer ties to the corporate hierarchy than usual, only reporting to the Area Manager. This way of working provides less assistance and requires a significant degree of self-reliance. However, it offers the perfect opportunity to leverage your experience and expertise, implement you own ideas and have an immense individual impact on our organization and our customers in return!

    The Distribution Manager CEE will be dealing with complex business partnerships (distributors, feed mills, key accounts) related to the monogastrics sector (swine and poultry), so prior experience in this field is a significant advantage.

    What are your key accountabilities?

    • Distributor management of existing distributors.
    • Account management of farmers/integrators.
    • Finding new distributors in key areas.
    • Responsible for the sales of TN Hifeed’s product portfolio either through direct sales or through distributors.
    • Development of yearly market plans, commercial policies, and budgets.
    • Accountable for the results and reporting of results in designated territory.
    • Support actual business activities of Nutreco companies or their agents and distributors in the area.
    • Develop sales volume and achieve agreed targets.
    • Generation and feedback of market intelligence to TN organization.
    • Participation in commercial and international meetings in the international headquarter.

    Main Tasks:

    • Develop annual accounts plans for larger partners.
    • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new partners.
    • Based on a structured calling plan support partners, merchants and develop their ability to sell our products.
    • Organize technical support for your clients from our core support team.
    • Report sales developments and issue forecasts for the defined area.

    What we ask

    We are looking for a good communicator with outstanding organization skills, a high level of independence and a structured way of working. Due to the international nature of this position, we want to emphasize the importance of intercultural competence and the ability to function well in a multi-cultural work environment.

    What you bring

    • Agricultural education or background, preferably in animal husbandry and/or nutrition.
    • Nutritional and broad technical expertise preferably in monogastrics.
    • Experience in feed additives market is a plus.
    • Business development experience shown by previous track record.
    • Interest in and experience with marketing and sales.
    • Fluent in English. German would be an advantage.
    • Willing to travel internationally approx. 30%.
    • Character set: self-motivating, enthusiastic, pro-active, open communication style, open minded.
