    Director Quality ITEC

    About the role
    At ITEC we have over 30 years of experience in optimizing production processes and developing, installing and maintaining some of the industry’s most advanced tools. By optimizing semiconductor backend capabilities, we enable production of over 90 billion devices annually. That demands a unique combination of understanding the day-to-day challenges of today’s assembly and test processes as well as the latest developments in smart manufacturing (industry 4.0) big data and advanced mechatronics.
    From a history as a division of Philips Semiconductors, NXP and Nexperia, ITEC emerged in July 2021 as an independent entity within the Nexperia group of companies. This enables us to address the third-party market in time to serve the current semiconductor boom. We provide manufacturers worldwide access to disruptive manufacturing solutions that are built to last. To strengthen our team we are looking of a Quality Director who will be instrumental in further strategizing and professionalizing ITEC Quality Systems, Products, Processes and Operations.
    As Quality Director you will be a member of the ITEC Management Team (MT) and report to the ITEC General Manager. You will own the complete scope of ITEC quality processes: Product quality, Manufacturing quality, Customer Care and Quality systems.
    What you will do
    • Set strategic direction for ITEC quality in processes, competences and system towards best-in-class product offering.
    • Run quality operations covering product qualification, complaint handling, change management and auditing.
    • Define customer quality strategy (including contracting) and deploy in the organization.
    • Define supplier quality strategy (including contracting) deploy and monitor performance.
    • Monitor and report quality trends and define improvement plans with responsible department managers.
    • Define ITEC quality systems strategy, drive compliancy, certification and continuous improvement.
    • Be responsible for running Certification trajectories and compliance of ITEC for relevant Quality standards ISO9001, SEMI, CE/ Machine Directive.
    • Grow a competent and inspiring ITEC quality team.
    • Maintain a strong network customer stakeholder as well as broader semiconductor equipment industry (suppliers, competitors) to secure ITEC quality policies meet the industry benchmark.
    What you will need
    • Masters’ Degree in relevant Applied Engineering Discipline.
    • Approximately 10+ years experience to include a successful track record in Product as well as Systems quality leadership in the semiconductor equipment industry or comparable domain.
    • In depth understanding of semiconductor equipment & automation market;
    • Successful track record in people management;
    • Expert knowledge in product quality tooling;
    • Expert knowledge in quality systems;
    • Strategic thinker;
    • Strong communication skills;
    • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
