You are going to be part of
Backend technology team (BET) develop and release new package technology, materials, and package concepts for RF products. The BET is a part of Ampleon CTO organization with wide range of package and assembly background and competences. You will work with a global team to drive from package design to release covering the entire value chain.
A look into the life of a Director Program Manager
As a BET program manager, you will work closely with Ampleon business unit product teams with delivery of package and assembly process releases. In this role, you will work with global multiple functional teams across design, product, equipment, testing, quality, procurement and supply chain. You will also work closely with our supplier and assembly subcon. You will be a driver tracking cross functional dependencies, managing requirements, resolving program issues, setting timeline, maintaining your program deliverables. The candidate should be an excellent goal and timeline driver and executer. He/she focuses on achieving required outcomes on time with a large group of team members while also be flexible in approach towards release.
Develop smart project goals and objectives. Manage a group of multi-site BE technology projects according to the agreed project plan and within agreed project boundaries (scope, quality, time, cost, risks, benefits)
Accountable for all program related projects to achieve defined results.
Plan, monitor and control program execution
Define competencies and resources needed for the program. Takes team leadership including operational guidance.
Organize and chair program review board with project leaders, management team and stakeholders
Own project execution metrics. Define priorities, solve conflicting requirements and roadblocks within the program.
Responsible to align overall project plans with project leaders and in agreement with all relevant stakeholders within Ampleon organization
Contribute to continuously improve project management processes. Contribute to the project management knowledge base by sharing lessons learned, best project management methods and processes used inside and outside Ampleon
Coach project leaders up to senior project managers
Master’s degree in a technical field
Minimum 10 years experience in semiconductors industry with a strong track record of driving industrial programs, IC programs and/or projects
Subject matter background in semiconductor (assembly) processes and packages
Certification PMI, Prince2 practitioner or similar
Expert in requirements development and management, project definition, scheduling, risk management, change control, stakeholder management
Expert in cross functional alignment and 3rd party alignment • Extensive knowledge of project management tools and their application • Leadership skills in building and leading project teams in a global, intercultural environment
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to travel intercontinental once every quarter
