Leadership – Lead the Vertical Furnace (VF) Product Management (GPM) team, consisting of Technical Marketing, Product Management, Program Management and Order Fulfillment.
Product Roadmap – Develop innovative product roadmaps to grow ASM market share. Based on detailed market analysis for inflections, product positioning and competitive analysis.
Product Life Cycle (PLC) Management – Pro-actively drive the life cycle from conception to high volume manufacturing to obsolescence. Ensure Market Requirement Specifications (MRS) for Features, Schedule and Cost are met.
Product Management – Responsible for product structure and product offering, including product cost structure. Plan and execute continuous margin improvement roadmaps, work with the finance department on NPV (Net Present Value) and ROI for products, setup and maintain cost of ownership (CoO) models.
Product Strategy – Develop long term product plan, including product growth strategy, create business forecast based on market information, support budget planning.
Customer Engagement – Setup and drive product penetration strategy to grow business. Assess and prioritize process demonstrations requests. Manage and execute customer meetings (in particular Technical Review Meetings).
Supplier Engagement – Develop key capabilities for new products through collaboration with suppliers
Strategic Marketing and Communications – Develop IP and licensing strategies, prepare go to market strategies for executive R&D expenditure requests, responsible for Marketing Communication of VF products
Order Fulfillment – Responsible for on time release of BOM to operational organization
Masters or higher in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent is a plus
At least 5 years’ experience in product management or technical marketing role in the semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
Process or device experience in semiconductors or capital equipment
Deposition process technology experience, especially in vertical furnaces, is a plus
Product/program management, Customer management, customer JDPs (Joint Development Programs) or customer support experience preferred
Understanding of the Product Life Cycle process
Positive, energetic attitude and initiative, strong work ethic
Strong leadership qualities to exercise influence both throughout the organization and with external parties
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
Ability to travel globally (+/-10%)
