    Director Digital Activation Content

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
    Lead the creation of a brand first and consumer centric digital content execution, for owned digital and paid social touchpoints driving to Ecom, representing local brand and channel priorities.
    Oversee and guide the execution of digital content created for the relevant mapped touchpoints in the adidas digital ecosystem (.com, apps, email, acquision and Ecom paid media channels).

    PERSONALISED: delivering the right message to the right audience.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Drive the content processes and activation for Europe eCommerce, ensuring brand and channel priorities are accounted for, directing delivery of planned seasonal campaigns as well as enabling in-season reactiveness.
    • Lead the seamless transition of campaigns from the Planning team to the Content team to enable flawless on time execution.
    • Build insight-driven, critical thinking within the team, ensuring that campaigns and content are executed to ensure optimization and to improve future work.
    • Create the framework that enables effective collaboration with the Newsrooms, DVM, CX, SEO, and Media Activation Teams, ensuring content opportunities are optimized and are integrated into the relevant campaign briefs.
    • Act as key figure, managing the relationship with global Digital Content and Global Digital Teams, informing global campaign delivery with market insights as well as the relationship for our external agency partner leading digital content in the European organization.
    • Drive efficiency in digital asset creation, curation and optimization by sharing and evaluating solutions.
    • Leading the relationship with content agency for the European organization, including with local cluster teams.
    • Participation in ad-hoc special projects with cross-functional project teams to help drive the business towards short- or long-term business objectives, such as atomization, campaign reporting and insights, personalization, and localization.
    • Explore and implement new technologies and opportunities by guiding the team to industry leading tools, trends, and developments.
    • Track OTIF delivery targets for Planning and Business Units (BU) teams, ensuring the team monitor delivery performance.
    • Act as key partner to the Senior Director, Digital Activation, delivering the consolidated content annual budget forecast. Track and monitor actuals vs budget and make revisions accordingly.

    Leadership:
    • Establish a tight-knit partnership with the Heads of Planning, Membership, and CRM to ensure that there is a seamless partnership from Planning to Content, enabling flawless execution, and that Membership and CRM opportunities are fully implemented into the campaign process.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of technical and creative aspects for digital and mobile.
    • Experience working in a multi-country, multi-language environment.
    • Comprehensive understanding of digital KPI’s and drivers of an eCommerce business.
    • Experience of enterprise-level platforms and understanding of digital IT products and capabilities.
    • An understanding of Brand Marketing content delivery needs, solutions, and processes.
    • An understanding of consumer behavior across the digital landscape.
    • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
    • Working knowledge of digital strategy and tactics.
    • Fluent in English both verbally and written.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Strategic mindset with an ability to prioritize and delegate accordingly.

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
    • 10+ years digital marketing experience with exposure to global clients and a mix of agency and brand-side experiences.
    • 5+ years experience managing teams.
