    Deputy Market Manager Program!


    We are looking for experienced leaders (he/she/they) with strong commercial background to be the Deputy Market Manager in different markets within IKEA NL. This concerns the following markets such as Amsterdam, Zwolle, Breda, Heerlen and Amersfoort. The decision which market you will be allocated is not final yet and will be later agreed on in the process.

    From April 2022 we start our brand new Deputy Market Manager program, an incubator to accelerate your development.

    Let’s talk about you!
    The person we are looking for must have a solid (IKEA) Retail background and proven track of performance in different retail functions, preferably commercial and operational. You must be familiar with leading business through people and you have a passion for creating solutions that are relevant for both people and business. Next to that you bring the following experience:
    • Previous leadership of large teams or groups required (minimum of 5 years leading teams / groups)
    • Previous experience in leading leaders
    • Proven track record of developing high level leaders
    • Experience of working in a commercial role in an organization, including previous senior management experience

    • You can communicate clearly and build trust at all levels, comfortably networking with all the relevant internal and external stakeholders to drive the IKEA brand, whilst confidently steering the store and its co-workers through change and bringing them along with you

You ensure high quality execution of all People processes securing performing, competent and engaged co-workers. As a digital ambassador in the function you embrace the digital transformation in the market.     The start date in your new position is April 1st 2022. If you move forward in the process, an development center with assessment will take place on Monday the 14th and Wednesday the 16th of February.

    The position will require full mobility national and preferably also international mobility during and after the program. Mobility support will be available. Good English language skills are a pre-requisite from the start.
