Global Demand Planner Fulltime, Amersfoort Salary per month: EUR 4.500 – 6.750 before tax
Your challenge as a Global Demand Planner The role will focus on increasing the efficiency of the supply chain through targeted forecast accuracy and associated KPI’s to ensure our product is available to meet the sales plan while minimizing operational costs. You will deliver a monthly demand plan as part of the business planning process which is approved by Demand Management. As a Global Demand Planner, you will interact frequently with other functional colleagues and the business. You are part of a global organization where co-operation, interaction and knowledge-sharing are key. Your responsibilities:
You analyze and manage the forecast with a time of relevance of 1 month to 24-month future horizon. Moreover, you will make a detailed demand history that can be aligned to forecast for comparison and context. Furthermore, you will report monthly to the Demand Management scorecard.
You coordinate the execution of the demand plan with responsible sales teams and customer services teams incl. effectively managing any exceptions with supply capability. Moreover, you work collaboratively with the Sales Managers to ensure key assumptions on anticipated market movements and commercial strategy are reflected within the forecasts.
Forecast Segmentation and Statistical Forecast Models:
You realize forecast segmentation to identify materials applicable to collaborative forecast and products that require market information. Moreover, you re-evaluate at least annually to ensure correct forecast segment. Therefore you will make use of SAP and Arkieva.
SAP master data & Power User Arkieva:
You create material for training of users of SAP/R3. Moreover, you will carry out training of relevant personnel to support continuous improvement (Planners, Sales Managers, and Customer Service etc.) Furthermore, you act as a project leader or participant in demand management projects with a minor (financial) impact. The focus in these projects is on SAP and Arkieva changes. The scope includes the management of external expertise.
You support preparation and facilitation of Regional Demand Reviews. Moreover, you provide input to the Supply Management Review (SMR) in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. You also co-lead the Demand Supply Review (DSR) to drive tactical implementation of the approved plans. Finally, you collaborate throughout the business project management process in the development of the plan, providing ad-hoc analytics and reports.
You propose tools and structures for the improvement of the planning function and, after consultation the Business Project Manager, you implement these structures. You also manage specific Supply Chain projects to meet budget requirements, project timelines, goals and business objectives.

Have preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’ degree in in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in supply chain is preferred.
Strong knowledge of SAP, Arkieva, Business Warehouse and Excel. Moreover, experience with APICS CPIM is preferred.
You own competences such as: ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction, process driven attitude, results - orientated and strong analytical skills.
Have very good English communication skills and you can communicate with all functional levels within the business.
As Global Demand Planner you must take into account that your travel time is up to 10 %.
