    Demand Manager

    Sandoz is also specialized in hard-to-produce drugs, such as injectable depot preparations, oncological products and inhalers, and has a growing portfolio of niche products.

    The position of Demand Manager is located within the planning department, part of the Supply Chain department, led by and reports to the Head Supply Chain. Around 100 employees are currently working at the Almere division.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
    • Ensure that the delivery & reliability of Sandoz is as efficient as possible in view of demand objectives;
    • Build an operational forecast and lead a demand review process that meets the cross-business unit sales goals whilst minimizing inventory holding cost and services customer’s needs;
    • Challenge the Brand Mangers/Key Account Managers on forecast assumptions. Provide a ‘joined up’ planning approach between Supply Chain, Finance and the Business Units;
    • Maintenance of forecast data including daily adjustments to assure a clear signal (at SKU level) across a 36-month rolling horizon;
    • Facilitate the BU Retail and BU Specialty demand review cycle and be responsible for the whole demand process;
    • Engage with the wider Sandoz forecasting community to continuously develop standard process;
    • Develop the role as a key link to the wider Supply Chain Operations team, ensuring changes to the demand signal are communicated proactively to help mitigate potential shortages or reduce obsolescence;
    • Provide information to internal and external collaborators;
    • Support Business Planning Process with forecast data (5 YR StratPlan, TGT and LF exercises).

    Minimum requirements

    What you’ll bring to the role:
    • HBO+, Degree in Economics, Statistics or Supply Chain;
    • Between 3 to 5 years’ experience/background in similar position within a multinational company;
    • Analytic approach, hands on mentality, curious behavior, accurate ways of working and work structured;
    • Proficiency in English (written & spoken);
    • Good knowledge of excel and SAP.
    Desirable Requirements:
    • Proficiency in Dutch (written & spoken);
