Your new role
We are looking for a Data Science Analyst for Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the process and product monitoring data collection, statistical analysis performance and take part in data visualisation projects of Kite’s engineered autologous T cell therapy products.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Perform data collection and verify data quality/accuracy based on electronic or paper sources, coordinating changes/corrections if required.
Provide data analytics services for investigations, product quality impact assessments, root-cause analysis for major and critical deviations to maintain routine manufacturing operations.
Ensure the cell therapy manufacturing processes are in a state of control, applying statistical process controls, control charts, data trending as part of the process monitoring program.
Support process improvement projects and digitalization initiatives (electronic batch records, laboratory systems, centralised databases, automated analysis, real-time process monitoring).
Perform data collection and analysis for laboratory experiments that support process development
What you'll need to succeed
BSc or MSc in Engineering, Data Sciences, Computer Science, Biotechnology or related discipline. 1-2 years’ experience in statistical data analysis, pharmaceutical manufacturing or process engineering required. Fluency in Excel advanced functions is a must and experience using JMP, Minitab or related software is preferable. Knowledge of data management tools and statistical process controls is also preferable. If you have experience in GMP manufacturing experience is a plus. It’s also considered a plus if you have experience with cell therapy products. The right person will have strong attention to detail, ability to function efficiently and independently in a changing environment, strong communication skills and well-developed computer skills.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 12 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. At this position, you will get a competitive salary (minimum €45,450) and your travel expenses are covered.
