About This Role:
The Data Researcher will be part of Forrester’s European technology architecture and delivery and technology executive research teams, which create, publish, and deliver research and consulting services for technology executives and technology leaders in architecture, applications, development, operations, emerging technologies, and innovation. The Data Researcher creates, publishes, and delivers research and consulting services to help these leaders with their most critical initiatives.
This role works as the research team’s main expert on Forrester data and first-line liaison with the research analytics organization and is key to delivering research, client advisory, and consulting as well as coordinating the team’s events and internal resources. The Data Researcher manages research surveys; ensures data is analyzed and reported correctly in client-facing deliverables; conducts in-depth background and desk research; and collaborates with analysts to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and client advisory. The successful candidate will work with Forrester’s Business Technographics® and Consumer Technographics data and contribute to Forrester’s future-fit research.

Lead and partner with analysts in conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing findings, and producing reports and presentations.
Develop a deep understanding of future-fit technology and innovation networks and platforms, and how they will evolve in time.
Design and conduct interviews and surveys to gain insight into the practices and priorities of senior business leaders across industries.
Perform quality survey data analysis, analyze complex primary data sets from relevant surveys, produce powerful presentations, and create coherent written arguments.
Manage data needs throughout the research production process. Work with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality client deliverables.
Convey research findings through written reports, data visualizations, and landscape reports.
Help the research team interface with Forrester analytics, sales, marketing, and editorial teams.
Take part in vendor briefings, client inquiries and guidance sessions, webinars, and industry events to help the team stay on top of industry trends and best practices. As needed, help the research teamwork with Forrester’s sales, marketing, and editorial teams.
A strong academic record; a BA/BS degree in analytics, statistics, economics, or English is preferred.
Experience with research, analytics market research, or consulting.
Proficiency with quantitative data collection or analysis using tools such as Qualtrics, SPSS, R, or other data analysis software.
Experience with Qualtrics for survey programming and implementation.
Superior verbal and written communication; excellent command of the English language and impeccable report writing.
Strong organizational skills and prioritization; the ability to manage schedule and multitask under tight deadlines.
Sense of work autonomy and collaboration as part of a global research team.
Great analysis, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
