We are looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join our expanding Operations Analysis team. With your strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, you will be responsible for collecting, documenting, and analysing internal and external sources of data. You will identify new analytics trends, opportunities to drive innovation and new data sources, next to the development of analytical models and insightful business reports and dashboards.
You will be based at our European headquarters in Amersfoort and will report to the Senior Operations Analyst. You will be working together with all operations related departments, such as Engineering, IT, Quality, Maintenance, and Manufacturing.
Creating and automating KPIs, metrics and reports for all Operations related departments
Develop and maintain reports in Power BI to provide new insights to drive business decisions
Working closely with Software developers in the development and deployment of HANA views, SQL tables, setting up APIs and other dataflows by defining requirements and testing
Initiating quality data improvements in the use of webapps, SAP and other software tools by identifying outliers in the data and analysing trends
Conducting research and investigating existing business processes to identify bottlenecks and make them visible in data representation tools, like PowerBI, Excel, Visio and others.
Communicating findings in an effective and efficient manner to customers and users.
Develop and implement improvement proposals using data-driven frameworks
Advocate for use of data-driven methodologies
Participate in interdepartmental process improvements and projects as Subject Matter Expert for data analysis
Bachelor’s degree (Operations research or Analytics)
1-3 years of experience with data analysis
Strong affinity with Operations
Excellent reporting and analytical skills using Excel
Knowledge of database software/power BI is preferred
Knowledge of ERP software, SAP is preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Flexible and able to multi-task
Currently living in The Netherlands and entitled to work within the EU
