    Data Analyst Intern

    Your Team:

    The Analytics & Program Support Team is part of the CTO Office providing state-of-the-art analytics and reporting related to Program Management and Engineering efficiency.

    One of our projects is to drive internal benchmarking of product development projects across the NXP businesses. We collect a variety of data elements, calibrate them, and apply statistical methods to identify best in class projects.

    The team is located in Nijmegen and Eindhoven working closely together with experts in the US.


    Your will become a member of the benchmarking team providing support on data collection and statistical analysis.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Identify and track projects to be assessed

    • Identify gaps in project data and support data collection and pre-processing

    • E valuate automation possibilities to increase assessment turnaround time

    • Perform statistical analysis across the different outputs

    • Support documentation of analysis results

    Your profile:

    • Bachelor or Master student in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Science, Data Science, Data Engineering or similar studies

    • Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)

    • Structural way-of-working with interest for the detail

    • Pro-active, open-minded and flexible person

    • Experience with or willingness to learn on MS Office (Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

    • Experience with statistical tools (e.g. Matlab)

    • Programming skills in VBA or DAX ( automation of reporting, e.g. via PowerBI ) or scripting (e.g. Python)


    The duration of the internship will be a minimum of 4 months (40h/week) and will take place in NXP Nijmegen. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.

    Please note that to be considered for this position, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period .
