Do you know how to convert our golden mountain of data into valuable insights and do you get excited about giving good, data-driven advice to our colleagues? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for a mid-level Data Analyst to expand our team.
Hi, we are AH Technology, reinventors of food retail
The history of Albert Heijn goes back further than the Wayback Machine. More than 130 years in fact. For millions of people, our brand has become synonymous with 'shopping'. We have not achieved this by embracing a 'if it works today, it will work tomorrow' philosophy, but by continuously innovating our propositions and making customer wishes leading in all our choices. More than 1,000 stores? check. The largest online food retail platform? We build and run. With a good portion of passion.
The next step? Accelerating our transition to a hybrid Food & Tech company. We want to use data and technology to make food shopping future-proof and better food available. For everyone. At AH Technology you work with inspiring colleagues from data, digital and tech domains. A community of people with diverse skills and backgrounds. And a community with a shared ambition: to build solutions that make (online) shopping easier and more fun. Do you want to change the way millions of people shop for – and enjoy – food? We invest heavily in data, digital and tech. And that also applies to your Data Analyst career!
This is how you reinvent food retail:
You are the one who asks the critical question and puts your finger on the (sometimes sore) spot. With your insights you provide our leadership the right tools to make decisions .
By analyzing our different datasets and creating valuable links between them. For example, you give them insight into different performance measures: IT Cost Management Forecast Accuracy, incident management, recruitment, learning and development, Agile team performance and more….
With these analyzes you help the different Tech teams to perform even better.
You work on structural solutions together with the business and you automate impactful analyses.
By translating data insights into experiments for innovative applications.
You do this by introducing new analysis approaches; you search creatively for new insights by using (new) data sources.
You understand: having a pragmatic and substantiated approach, a simple solution is often better than a complex one. It's about the impact, not the model.
You involve your various stakeholders in the process of data analyzes to useful insights and business impact.
Within the PPM (Project Portfolio Management domain) we support and lead projects within Albert Hein, Gall & Gall and Etos. You support this department with analytics and data science solutions
You will work closely with our other Data Analyst. The role is a mix data analytics, stakeholder management and using your technical background to gain new insights. You interact a lot with our business colleagues and you challenge them and explain our complex findings in a simple way.
What do we offer?
The best ingredients for a meaningful job
We pay back your commitment with a salary in line with the market. Think of a salary between €40,000 and €60,000 gross per year.
A profit distribution ranging from 45 to 130% of your average period salary.
We save together for a Scrooge McDuck worthy pension. And we pay more than four times as much as you. This way you are also assured of a good income later on?
You can take 45 (yes, forty-five) days off; 25.5 fixed vacation days and 19.5 ADV. Have fun!
You develop as fast as the tech we work with. Thanks to feedback loops with the best & the brightest tech-savvy colleagues. And by actively contributing to the AH Technology community – splash in a sea of knowledge and insights!
A modern laptop and smartphone are 'included'. In addition, you hoard discounts. On insurance and your groceries, for example.
You have access to our AH tech Academy with many training courses on both hard and soft skills. We believe that continuing to develop yourself as an analyst is very important.
An employer that combines the best of both worlds: the opportunities that you associate with a corporate plus the autonomy and the “to boldly go where no (wo)man has gone before” drive that characterizes scaleups.
The opportunity to help millions of people eat healthier, tastier and easier.
The AH Tech Academy
In 2021 we launched our brand new AH Tech Academy. A learning environment organized by and for our colleagues, together with external training partners. The AH Tech Academy is a platform that supports you in your daily work and learning on a daily basis. It offers a variety of courses and training sessions. Besides, the academy is a platform to share experiences and learn from each other's expertise. You will not only find software development trainings, also Agile courses, time management, presentation training and more. You can get your certifications and visit conferences. We invest time, budget and room for both your personal and professional growth. As we are further developing this platform and adding courses and trainings on the go, you can already enjoy the benefits of this program.
