Position summary: This role leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program. The person appointed will be part of the Cybersecurity Team and responsible for defining and embedding best practice information security policies, standards and processes based on ISO 27K series.This role will principally advise and enable technical teams to make security decisions, ensuring the effective use of common tools and patterns. Have a proactive responsibility to assist in the delivery of key responsibilities.
Developing, executing, and maintaining information security management framework and related IT Security policies within the organizations. This includes conducting continuous assessment of IT security practices and policies to improve the security posture of the company.
Lead in compliance reviews, certifications and accreditations (e.g. ISO27001, GDPR, Customers compliance verification, etc).
Lead in IT audit planning, coordination of information requests and compilation of reports.
Plan and implement Information Security, IT Risk Management, and IT policy to improve the overall security posture for the organization.
Provide leadership and expertise for information security to safeguard and protect sensitive data and enhance the overall security posture.
Manage multiple projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty
Expert in demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of information security technologies, embedded security, and platforms
Sets organisational strategy governing the direction and conduct of programme management, including the application of appropriate methodologies.
Plans, directs, and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement complex programmes from initiation to full integration with operational, business-as-usual management. Aligns the programme objectives with business objectives, and authorises the selection and planning of all related projects and activities.
The ideal candidate will have (education & experience):
At least 5 years of experience in delivering quality solutions as a technical leader and project management skill.
ISO 27001 certification (Lead Implementer)
At least 10 years of technology experience with a specific focus on the security domain.
Bachelor’s degree relevant to Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent).
Deep domain knowledge, ideally with experience with global exposure and strong understanding knowledge of cloud computing.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM.
Project management certification such as PMP.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Strong Technical and architectural knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Comprehensive understanding of Information Security Frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) and data privacy act such as GDPR.
Monitoring and reporting on compliance with security and data protection policies, as well as the enforcement of policies.
Working knowledge of Security Architecture and potential security issues related to them PaaS, IaaS, SaaS and understanding of IAM, and Data Loss Prevention in a Microsoft Azure environment.
Knowledge of security technologies such as IDS/IPS, vulnerability testing and Firewalls.
