    Customer Service Representative (Supply Chain)

    Job Purpose

    Take care of the day-to-day processes with the customer in order to achieve the highest possible levels of service to maintain our quality accreditations and maximize customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilites and Tasks

    Order administration: in order to ensure correct and timely deliveries to the customer and to ensure correct pricing:
    - Order entry, rescheduling and expediting via internal system
    • Ensure correct placing of purchase orders
    • Adjust and improve purchase orders (change, improvement, escalation)
    • Monitor and control reservation controlled items (CBM, Ceiling, ...)

    Keep Customer Cross Reference files up-to-date in line with agreed contracts and quotations:
    - Invoicing, credit/debit- and selfbill handling: ensure a timely payment and balancing of stock and return shipments

    Stock control: have a good balance between meeting customer requirements by avoiding slow moving and excessive stock:
    - Monitor local and consignment stock levels, and take any corrective actions necessary together with the Sales team to minimize the slow-moving-, excessive- and obsolete stock levels

    Master file maintenance: facilitate the day-to-day running of the customer’s account:
    • Maintain accurate customer information, in order to have a clear record of customers’ specific requirements

    Customer Relationship: join customer visits depends on necessity:
    • Support Sales actively in terms of Logistic/SCM issues and customer visits

    Internal Relationship: facilitate the smooth communication and positive cooperation between CS and other Murata departments:
    • Follow processes in line with documented procedures within the job’s authorization levels

    Required Education

    Required Knowledge/Experience

    • Secondary school level or comparable commercial education in connection with the appropriate professional experience (3 years)
    • Very good experience with ERP systems (USSO/AS400, SAP ….)
    • Basic commercial Skills
    • Good English and local language skills in speaking and writing
    • Basic skills in standard software (MS Office, Lotus Notes) and Murata specific software
    • Basic product knowledge
    • Basic knowledge in Quality Management
    • Basic communication skills (active listening, conflict management)
    • Ready for business trips
    • Basic negotiation skills
