Customer Marketing Manager
As Customer Marketing Manager you deliver world class in store commercial solutions along the shopper journey based on customers, shoppers and expert insights.
You will ensure an optimal promotional program & in store shelf presentation aligned with the GSK brand strategies.
Your responsibilities:
As Customer Marketing Manager your responsibilities can be divided in 5 main topics:
Project management
- You lead promotional projects based on shopper insights and retail analyses
- Deadline management for promo development, key contact for 3rd party agencies for development (creative, production, brand activation)
- You ensure effective execution of promotional (theme) calendar together with KAM
- In store excellence measurements (e.g. store safari, Roamler)
- Build relationship with key customers (buyers, category manager and formula management)
- Ensure compliance in all activities together with RA and Quality
Operational excellence
- You are responsible for execution of marketing mix, driving conversion while being consistent with GSK customer and brand positioning.
- You will present and explain category vision and strategic direction and plan and execute the promotional plan.
- Timely delivery of in store / online materials
- Knowledge of key partners strategy, shopper profiles, in store tools (do’s and don’ts)
- BTL budget management
Innovation
You continuously improve the effectiveness of in store POS materials (and shopper claims) while finding new ways to drive category growth with key retailers (incl. education of store staff)
Strategy
You Build strong key account & brand plans together with Brand Marketing and Key Account Manager. You have a Deep understanding of key accounts strategy (do’s and don’ts at point of sales) and understand relevant GSK brand strategies & prioritization
Analyses & Insight generation
Understand shopper insights for your brands and translate to activation through Analysing the market data information (Nielsen) and promotional effectiveness analyses (ROI).
This way you determine knowledge gaps in shopper behaviour relevant to category vision and strategy (You have a deep understanding of shopper of decision tree, triggers and barrier)

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- HBO / University degree in business administration, economics or related.
- 2+ years of work experience.
- well-grounded knowledge in applying channel and category management tools
- Strong skills in communication, leadership and people management
- Good project management skills, experienced in managing several complex projects at the same time
- Fluent in English and Dutch
