TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. To live up to our promise "lead as a green grid operator", we need to increase our efforts on our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) ambition 2025. And for that reason we are looking for a CSR Program Manager (all genders), a new position that is crucial to get our company to the next level.
Your contribution to TenneT
You will be managing several CSR focus areas: green finance, CSR tender toolbox, implementation in our tenders, onshore as offshore with different maturity levels and different ways of steering
For many years TenneT is financing “green”, which means that our investors invest in assets that are qualified as green. The whole process of green qualification, to implementation, understanding the external developments as well as the investor needs is part of the scope of green finance, so will be up to you
In our tenders we have made good progress with integrating CSR aspects. Further development and execution of the tools we use there, some of them based on LCA methodology, will be your task
You will act as an ambassador internally and externally, communication and engagement is crucial, and work in close cooperation to the other CSR Program Managers (all genders)
Your Profile and background
You have a Master's degree in business administration, engineering, environmental science or compareable
You are an experienced professional with relevant job experience with a track record of "making things happen", are skilled in planning, organizing and reporting across a range of disciplines
You are a committed team player, well aware of the company's and team's interests, flexible to changing enviroments and open to frequent travelling between countries
Your willingness to learn about CSR/sustainability – knowledge of the key fundamentals of sustainability are key in this role, and at the same time your organisational sensitivity - you know when to push for change and sense when to be more patient - make you stand out
Lastly, this position requires language skills in Dutch or German and good English, verbal and written
